Quiet on the outside
I look the silent type.
No one would ever dream
Of what really goes on inside.
But I have the same thoughts
And emotions as anyone else.
How to put them into word?
I do not know.
No matter what I知 feeling,
No matter what I壇 say,
The music says all I can think
Before it fades away.
When unable to express just how I feel
The music takes it for me.
Takes my thoughts and makes them soar.
Suddenly I have found my voice.
I知 not silent anymore.
Suddenly I swell up inside
With all the pent-up feeling.
I find an urge to release
All that I feel inside.
But once more it is the lack of words
That keeps my thoughts inside.
No matter what I知 feeling,
No matter what I壇 say,
The music says all I can think
Before it fades away.
When unable to express just how I feel
The music takes it for me.
Takes my thoughts and makes them soar.
Suddenly I have found my voice.
I知 not silent anymore.
For when music plays
I have found my voice.
All I ever need to say
Is floating on the notes.
Soft or loud, bright or dull,
The music says it all.
No matter what I知 feeling,
No matter what I壇 say,
The music says all I can think
Before it fades away.
When unable to express just how I feel
The music takes it for me.
Takes my thoughts and makes them soar.
Suddenly I have found my voice.
I知 not silent anymore.
